PREVENTIVE ROUTINE TO THE RESCUE OF FIREFIGHTERS

We are all concerned, and we all have the power to participate in the various solutions to reduce occupational cancers.

But if we go back to basics, one of the simplest and most concrete solutions for firefighters and workers in other sectors of activity remains the preventive routine of taking a shower.

A ROUTINE.
3 SIMPLE STEPS.

When you return from a fire, or a day at work in contact with contaminants, it's imperative to take a shower as soon as possible. Your health comes first!

Here are 3 simple steps to follow
for an effective preventive routine.

Cleansing

For: Cleansing the skin and unclogging pores
When: After each exposure or on a daily basis
WHERE: In the shower
Rinse thoroughly from head to toe.
Massage cleanser into hair and scalp en circular motions with fingertips, en deeply. Use enough product to work into a lather. Leave it on for a few minutes .
Meanwhile, wash your entire body en lathering in circular movements. In particular, rub over the face, neck, nape of the neck, jawline, behind the ears, elbows, armpits, groin and between the thighs. Leave on out of the water jet.
Rinse again with plenty of water from head to
feet. Make sure there's no cleaner left.

EXFOLIATING

For: Removing impurities en deep down
When: After each exposure or 1-2 times a week
WHERE: In the shower
Apply the exfoliating care to the face, neck, nape of the neck, base of the jaw, behind the ears, elbow hollows, armpits, groin and between the thighs.
Rub en in circular motions with fingertips. Leave on out of the water jet.
Rinse with plenty of water en . Make sure no exfoliant remains.

MOISTURISING

For: Restoring skin, tightening pores and preventing irritation after exfoliation
When: After each exfoliation (important) and on a daily basis
WHERE: Outside the shower
On well-dried skin and with clean fingers, apply moisturizer to the face, neck, nape of the neck, base of the jaw, behind the ears, elbow hollows, armpits, groin and between the thighs.
Using circular movements, work the lotion into the skin until completely absorbed.
Apply to any other location at any time, as required.
